About Us
AK Photo Hunt grew out of our passion for photography, ideography and doing amazing trips in Alaska. We can set up any trip in the Great Land, but our personal favorites are remote float trips. To us, nothing beats bring dropped off by your bush plane, and spending time getting into the rhythm of nature. Float trips offer unique opportunities to photograph, video, hunt, fish, hike and view wildlife in areas that are not accessible by other means.
Some of our best footage and photographs are from remote float trips. Floating in areas where man is not a constant presence allows you the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife in their own setting. Sometimes, this means they are more tolerant of our presence, which can present excellent photo opportunities.
Hunters should be aware that although we are a licensed, insured and reputable company, we are not registered hunting or fishing guides. We cannot provide guide services for brown/grizzly bear, dall sheep or goat. We can help hunters plan the logistics of hunts for all other big and small game. We do have contacts with several hunting guides throughout Alaska, and can assist you in planning a trip with one of them.
